STD Testing & Treatment
Most STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) can be detected with a simple urine sample. The results are usually available in a day or two. Symptoms can also be treated before results are available if indicated. Most people who have infections have no symptoms. Anytime a new partner is encountered, it is best to make sure you are not the recipient of an unwanted surprise. Prevention and early detection is far superior to waiting for symptoms to occur. Protect yourself.
Long Acting Birth Control Implants
We enjoy educating patients about all of the different options for birth control. Long acting implants play a big part in our patients' lives. They give them the freedom from worrying about pregnancy on a day to day basis. No more missing a pill and panicking. It's a wonderful way to give women control over their reproductive lives.
Nexplanon is the most effective birth control. It works well for young people who are often not yet ready for a pelvic exam.
Hormonal IUDs can also reduce or stop heavy periods. Many patients experience not only excellent birth control, but no more periods.
Pregnancy Confirmation & Ultrasound
We provide fast tracked appointments for early confirmation and ultrasounds to provide dating of pregnancies. We provide pregnancy confirmation and dating in the first 10 weeks of pregnancy, including genetic testing for early gender identification.
